Slaughter (Cage - WWF - 3/21/1981) Invader 1 vs Al Perez (Street Fight - WWC - 10/26/1986) Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard vs Barry Windham & Lex Luger (NWA - 3/27/1988) Chris Benoit vs Shawn Michaels (WWE - 5/3/2004) Austin Aries vs Nigel McGuinness (ROH - 12/29/2007) AJ Styles vs Bully Ray (TNA - 6/12/2011) Kenny Omega vs Tetsuya Naito (NJPW - 8/13/2016) A-Kid vs Zack Sabre Jr. (WWW - 14/4/2018) Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan (WWE - 11/18/2018)

Naito/Omega 1 is a top 15 for me. A match that good that I can't believe it has Kenny Omega on it.
Also, great choice with A Kid vs ZSJ. That match put Spanish wrestling on the map a bit, and thanks to it we have A Kid giving a hell of a run at NXT UK. That dude has tremendous potential.

Nice list Cactus. I have yet to watch the Sabre vs Kid, taking into account that it happened in my country I should have already watched it.
Lesnar vs Danielson is the best Bryan's match in WWE, IMO.

That A Kid vs Sabre match is really good. I haven't watched it since shortly after it happened, but I loved it.

Hijo del Santo vs Espanto Jr, but the 1988 title match. To me is even better than the máscaras match. Nigel/Danielson from the 6th Anniversary show. Again, even better than the canon match. Naito/Tanahashi 2017 trilogy. People NEED to take those matches into consideration. All of them are motdc. Hokuto/Meiko from I believe April 2001, at GAEA. I couldn't believe how perfect everything was being, to the point I even think it's the better Hokuto match ever. Martel/Flair, NWA WHC vs AWA WHC, at AJPW in 1985. My current MOTY for that year, and a match with very high stakes, I can't believe how poorly remembered it is. Bockwinkel/Wahoo, Augost 1983. Bock has more than the Hennig match to be considered for a top 100. Incredible brawl. Juice Robinson vs Jon Moxley at last year's BOSJ show. Everyone talks about Ospreay/Shingo but this is even better to me because of Moxley's reborn as a character and worker, he's so vicious and charismatic and I love it. Juice is also an amazing babyface here, tons of fire and urgency. Funaki/Nakano from an 1989 UWF show. Maybe the best sprint ever, and best shoot style match ever. This needs to be in the conversation for shoot biggest references alongside the Tamura/Han, Tamura/Yammamoto, Fujiwara/Tiger, Fujiwara/Takada and Ikeda/Ishikawa matches. Quoting this tryingw to get more people to watch some of this stuff before voting. Y SPECIALLY beg you to give the 2017 Naito/Tanahashi trilogy and Juice/Moxley a chance.

In light of people releasing their list, these are 10 matches I want people to give a chance mixed with those I haven't really pushed well enough.
1. Hyper Misao vs Jun Kasai - Part comedy match, part brawl all over Korakuen, this match is wildly entertaining and gripping as you root for Misao to overcome the massive obstacle in her way
2. Young Bucks vs Hardy Boyz - This is their NEW match in 2014. This was a dream match and the first time they locked up, so they'd be forgiven for doing an all-out spotfest. However, they go for a more slowly built match with an excellent finishing stretch and a real good face/heel dynamic.
3. Bryan Danielson vs Chris Hero - Seriously, this match is just amazing. Over 40 minutes but never dull with brawling, matwork, bombs, and a great David Vs Goliath story.
4. Kairi Hojo vs Io Shirai - Their January 2016 match specifically. It's the big blowoff to a few storylines that happened during 2015 for STARDOM and is the 2nd best match in STARDOM history.
5. Manami Toyota vs Yumiko Hotta - Their 1995 GP Final match. Hotta puts a beat down on Toyota, who puts in a great selling performance and has to rely on catching Hotta off guard to try and snatch the win
6. Daisuke Sekimoto vs Shuji Ishikawa - Downright nasty fucking match, with Shuji hitting some of the nastiest forearms I've ever seen. Sekimotos fire in this is infectious
7. Kana vs Arisa Nakajima - Violent in every way - Crowd brawling, chairs, headbutts, strike exchanges, and painful looking matwork. Add on some great character work and you have something special.
8. Zeus vs Kento Miyahara - For me the best match in All Japan of the 2010s.
9. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Suwama - The crowd is molten in this, fully behind Suwama and absolutely against Tana. Tanahashis heel performance is fantastic, with his offence looking particularly vicious.
10. Toyota and Yamada vs Ozaki and Kansai - Specifically their final match. This is a highly acclaimed trilogy, so I'm surprised this finished so low last year and that I haven't seen anyone voting for this. For me, this is the best of the trilogy, 25 minutes of brilliant tag action that doesn't have any of the downtime or disjointed moments of the first two.

I've been watching some of the matches that I haven't seen from people's completed lists; I am not close to settled but wanted to highlight 10 matches I am considering for my top 100. I think I could be the high voter/lone voter for these but maybe some of these will appeal to you.
5 locks
1. Devil Masami, Dynamite Kansai, and Chigusa Nagayo vs Mayumi Ozaki, Cutie Suzuki, and Plum Mariko (1994/01/09 JWP) - I am a huge fan of the multi-woman gimmicky matches from around this time and while this is not at the level of thunderqueen, I loved the dynamic between the 3 powerhouses vs the resourceful team led by Ozaki. This is loads of fun with many great moments.
2. Tully Blanchard vs Ron Garvin (1986/07/26 JCP) - Their worldwide match is great, but this one is so much fun. Tully and JJ are looking outclassed at every turn and then resort to every trick in the book against Garvin's hands of stone.
3. Genichiro Tenryu vs Nobutaka Araya (1998/01/14 WAR) - A war and a great Tenryu performance.
4. Jaguar Yokota vs Monster Ripper (1982/05 AJW) - Great David vs Goliath battle that had me popping out of my seat. Jaguar is a legend,;Monster Ripper is underrated and was great in her role here.
5. Midnight Express vs Bill Watts and Stagger Lee (1984/04/24 Mid-South) - The best match by the best US tag team ever merits consideration. Here they are at their best bumping around against an unequaled "walking tall" combination.
5 on the bubble
1. Buddy Rose vs Lonnie Mayne (1977/10/01 Portland) - My favorite Buddy Rose singles match. He shows multiple aspects of his game and some moments that genuinely shocked me.
2. Perro Aguayo vs El Hijo del Santo (2001/03/04 XLAW) - Two legends slugging it out. El Hijo del Santo is a GOAT contender but Perro's character work here was just unbelievable, I found him really terrifying.
3. Mercedes Martinez vs Kylie Rae (2019/03/29 Rise) - Great underdog vs veteran story and the roles fit the wrestlers like a glove. Some serious bells and whistles, but they all add to the match.
4. Mariko Yoshida vs Megumi Fujii (2003/05/24 Arsion) - This kind of came out of nowhere for me, but the work here was intricate without feeling cooperative and there was a whole bunch of drama in a short match.
5. Carlos Colon vs Abdullah the Butcher (1991/07/27 WWC) - This was my 100 last year, and while I have watched a whole lot of wrestling in the past two years I think this will find a way to stay on. A hugely entertaining chapter one of the greatest feuds of all time.

Edging ever closer to voting time so here's 10 that I think people should check out if they haven't:
Toshie Uematsu vs Yoshiko Tamura (GAEA 07/19/1997) - A match that made a belt that would only exist for 8 months feel like the most important thing in the world because of how hard they scrapped for it and Uematsu's exceptional babyface performance
Mariko Yoshida vs Megumi Fujii (ARSION 05/24/2003) - I'm stealing this from mvz but this really is an incredible bout. This is Fujii's first-ever match and while she has a background in all sorts of Martial Arts, translating that to a pro wrestling setting can be difficult but she pulls it off expertly
Momo Watanabe vs Syuri (Stardom 09/25/2021) - A fast-paced war full of intensity, some ridiculously stiff kicks, and plenty of awesome moments
LCO vs Ayako Hamada & AKINO (ARSION 12/11/1999) - LCO taking their savagery to another level in a match that constantly feels like it's about to descend into a squash, only for Hamada & AKINO to pull off some amazing offence to keep themselves in it
Chigusa Nagayo vs Lioness Asuke (AJW 08/25/1988) - Better than their '87 match in every way.
William Regal vs Cesaro (WWE 11/21/2013) - As good of a retirement match as you could ask for with Regal looking equal parts vulnerable and defiant and Cesaro looking like an unstoppable monster
Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Kenny Omega (NJPW 01/04/2019) - A clash of styles and a clash of characters done with a surprisingly high level of violence
Ilja Dragunov vs WALTER (WWE 10/29/2020) - I feel like some of the hype for this has died down which is a shame because this is one of the few matches that feels like it actually benefitted from Empty Arena setting, as they seemed to lay in their strikes even more than they usually do making for one hell of a violent spectacle
Masao Orihara vs Shinjiro Ohtani (WAR 01/16/1994) - At one point Ohtani lets go of a Tombstone piledriver in mid-air, causing Orihara to land directly on his head. Orihara responds by immediately getting up and hitting a nasty piledriver. Everything about this match was wrestled like they wanted to kill each other.
Go Shiozaki vs Katsuhiko Nakajima (NOAH 11/22/2020) - The only King's Road match I consider better than this is Kobashi/Misawa from 1997. Contains some of the most vicious strike exchanges to take place in a wrestling ring.

Jim Breaks vs Young David - 23/02/80 The best carry-job of all time. The best DBS match of all time (sorry Bret). The best Jim Breaks match of all time. Best WoS match of all time. This’ll be in my top 10.
Gilbert Le Duc vs Bert Mychel - 16/04/73 Great ‘little things’ match. That French style coupled with proto-Finlay grit.
Atlantis vs Villano III - 17/03/00 An acknowledged all-time classic, but it’s only had one comment on it’s thread since 2020, and that was me singing it’s praises.
The Destroyer vs Mil Mascaras - 09/10/73 Mil Mascaras has a rep for being overrated, but when 70s Mil is on, he is ON. One of the best mat clinics of all time.
Metalico vs Virus - 31/05/19 One of the most unique matches. The story of an average man reaching the end of an average career, determined to leave his mark.
Yoji Anjo vs Naoki Sano - 13/08/93 Neither of these guys get enough love. Maybe the best example of traditional pro style meets shoot-style.
Super Tiger vs Yoshiaki Fujiwara - 05/12/84 The one where Fujiwara is slowly kicked to death. After watching so many big matches, I really appreciate this for deviating from my expectations in terms of structure, whilst still managing to be massively satisfying.
Marty Jones vs Mark Rocco - 13/09/78 High-speed big bumping WoS that retains the struggle and logic of the style.
Shinya Hashimoto vs Naoya Ogawa - 07/04/00 The saddest match. A match that had a bad rep for a long time due to being emblematic of the wheels coming off New Japan. I love it for Hash’s pathos. Another match that deviates from your trad big match structure in an interesting way.
Genichiro Tenryu vs Isao Takagi - 28/01/90 Tenryu beats Takagi like he owes him money. Best extended squash of all time.
