I'll watch both Jaguar/Galáctica and Inoki/Vader this week. The last one was super awful for me, but I really want to check those matches because they look fun as hell, specially the Yokota match because I've never seen any of it.

Ugh... I've already fallen behind. I'll try to catch up on these last two this week because I they both look good.

I'll wait til saturday, I'm busy af these data, but I wanna see the Hansen/Tenryu tag in all its glory, because the Jumbo/Yatsu match didn't do that much for me and I know there must be better matches.

the Jumbo Yatsu 89 Final didn't do much for you?

Not really. Still a pretty good match but not something I consider a classic. I'm planning on give it a rewatch when I do the 80s again before GME this year, though.

Wow I had been thinking the 89 final had a chance of overtaking 1/86 and 12/88 as folks top 80s AJPW tag. I think the Baba Kimura match is better than the final but I'm a weirdo

I love those two and will probably make my list. They had a great atmosphere of chaos and tensio because the match could end almost anytime. The 89 RWTL match had a lot of downtimes and moments where the workers seemed a bit lost (specially Yatsu), and it maybe was five minutes longer than it needed to be. The Jumbo/Tenryu interactions were great most of the times (as always), but I don't remember anything else truly great.

The '89 final was highest 80's AJPW match on my first ballot, but the '88 final overtook it this last time.

I need to rewatch 1/86 alongside the Baba/Rusher match to decide which ones better. Right now my top 3 80s AJPW matches would be those 2 matches and 6/5/89 in some order.

Got caught up yesterday. Some quite good matches here.
Is Masa Saito one of the best bleeders ever?
