Elsewhere KB8 decided they were gonna run down the entire list match by match. All 600+. And I was like, hey that's my kinda crazy. So I said fuck it. If this champion of humans and hero of mortals can run through the entire list then by god so I can I. So here we fucking go (My thoughts are in Bold):
Fuck it, I’m with you. Every match. Lets do it! My replies are in bold
627-T. Chigusa Nagayo vs. Akira Hokuto (AJW - 3/19/1989)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Kadaveri - 100
Never seen. Can't lie; probably never will.
You should see it. It’s a great one.
627-T. Rick Rude vs Ultimate Warrior (WWF - 8/28/1989)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: NintendoLogic - 100
Top 3 for Warrior? Roddy Piper's bare arse. Ganso Bomb!
Savage, Savage #2, yep. Top 3 for Warrior. Rude seems a little underrated to me at this point because what a match!
627-T. Carlos Colon vs Abdullah the Butcher (WWC - 7/27/1991)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots:1
High Vote: mvz - 100
Love this match-up, but never seen. Probably should.
Colon hits Abby in the head with a cinder block and rips his pants off. Must see. Worthy pick. Didn’t get around to rewatching it but had I managed to find the time I probably would have voted for it. Thought it was their best match and they have like a million great matches together.
627-T. The Great Muta vs Scott Norton (NJPW - 8/2/1997)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Grimmas - 100
I'm intrigued. Love big Scotty. Muta had great face paint.
This rules. Best Scott Norton match I’ve ever seen. These two have great chemistry.
627-T. Chikayo Nagashima vs Sugar Sato (Oz Academy - 11/4/2002)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Elliot - 100
Not a clue.
Street fight between former tag team partners that includes a diving footstomp from the top of a flight of stairs and a hurricanrana while side of a bag. Must see match. They have crazy ideas and somehow make them all work.
627-T AJ Styles vs Bobby Roode (TNA - 12/11/2011)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Superstar Sleeze - 100
Will be honest - I won't watch this.
I first saw AJ Styles wrestle 20 years ago and I didn’t like him then and I don’t like him now. The only time I’ve ever liked AJ Styles was when Undertaker was calling him a little bitch.
622-T. Nobuhiko Takada vs Bob Backlund (UWFi – 12/22/1988)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Cap - 99
A hoot.
Awesome match. Deserves more votes
622-T. Wild Pegasus vs. Great Sasuke (NJPW - 4/16/1994)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: EnviousStupid - 99
Didn't like this on last watch. Liger/Sasuke stomps it.
Not sure this makes my top 50 Great Sasuke matches.
622-T. Daisuke Ikeda vs. Alexander Otsuka (Battlearts - 4/26/1999)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: NintendoLogic - 99
Probably seen it, don't remember. Bet it rules.
Awesome match. Otsuka is just the best.
622-T. Mick Foley & Edge & Lita vs Terry Funk & Tommy Dreamer & Beulah McGillicutty (ECW - 6/11/2006)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Elliott - 99
Exceptional bit of carry on. Best scumbag pin in history.
I underrated this honestly. Its perfect.
622-T. Meiko Satomura vs. Mercedes Martinez (WWE - 8/9/2018)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Tim Livingston - 99
Never seen.
This is a great one. Definitely check it out.
613-T. Jerry Lawler vs Dutch Mantell (CWA - 3/22/1982)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: NintendoLogic - 98
Amazing match. Maybe top 30 of the 80s for me.
DIdn’t vote for it this time but have voted for it in the past. Considering I voted for every other Jerry Lawler match, if I had watched this one recently it likely would have made my list. You can’t go wrong with Jerry Lawler in a wrestling match.
613-T. Ric Flair vs Ricky Steamboat (WCW - 3/18/1989)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Bossrock - 98
Been a minute. Probably would still think it's decent.
Great match. I have no further thoughts on Flair vs Steamboat at this time.
613-T. Akira Hokuto & Bull Nakano vs. Megumi Kudo & Combat Toyoda (FMW - 9/19/1992)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Grimmas - 98
Good inter-promotional fun.
Killer match lost in a sea of killer Joshi matches from the mid 90s. Kudo is a forgotten all time great and Hokuto & Bull are Hokuto & Bull!
613-T. Psicosis vs. Rey Mysterio Jr (AAA – 9/22/1995)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Control21 - 98
Last saw this 15 years ago. Remember little.
Maybe Rey’s best match.
613-T. Rob Van Dam & Bill Alfonso vs Tommy Dreamer & Beulah (ECW - 9/20/1997)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Elliott - 98
No idea if I've seen this.
Everyone should see Fonzie lose 1/3 of his blood.
613-T. CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe (ROH - 6/12/2004)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Tim Livingston - 98
Watched half recently. Was okay. Didn't finish. Probably won't bother.
I just have absolutely no interest in a match between these two.
613-T. Fujita Jr Hayato vs Koji Kanemoto (NJPW - 12/22/2009)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Superstar Sleeze - 98
Stiff as a bastard. Great little match.
I remember when I first saw this on a match list I thought Fujita’s name was typo’d. But apparently not. Never really liked Kanemoto. That said I remember this being fun.
613-T. El Hijo Del Santo and Villano IV vs Angel Banco Jr and El Hijo Del Solitario (TXT – 2/25/2012)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Cap - 98
Spectacular brawl. Would possibly be on my list.
21st Century classic. Voted for it in the past didn’t vote for it this time. Could well vote for it again in the future.
613-T. Fenix vs. Mil Muertes (LU - 1/25/2015)
Total Points: 3
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: EnviousStupid - 98
I have never seen a second of Lucha Underground.
Same. NOt sure I know who these two are.
605-T. Dick Murdoch vs Killer Karl Kox (AJPW - 12/9/1976)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: mvz - 97
Rules. Wish we had two hundred Murdoch/Killer Karl matches.
Same. Another one that I've previously voted for, didn't this time but its not becasue I think any less of it. Classic match well worth a vote.
605-T. The Sheiks vs Crusher & Greg Gagne (AWA - 3/25/1984)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Superstar Sleeze - 97
Awesome. Prefer the '82 cage match though.
I bet the Crusher fucking hated Greg Gagne and referred to him as “That little twerp” for years even though Greg was the taller man.
605-T. Andre the Giant vs King Kong Bundy (WWF - 9/23/85)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Darrenn - 97
Never seen. Intrigued.
It rules. “The Colossal Jostle.” Seriously. Its on the screen. Bundy is an underrated performer. And Andre is the king. They run out of gas for like 3 minutes in the middle of this and have to take a break but the stuff before and after that is mind blowingly great. And they get to the rest spot by Andre doing a shoot style takedown so it basically cancels itself out. Thrilled this got a vote. Great match
605-T. Crush Gals vs Jumping Bomb Angels (AJW - 3/20/1986)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Grimmas - 97
Also never seen. Also intrigued.
Pretty much the opposite of the last match but also rules. Top 3 Jumping Bomb Angels match.
605-T. Midnight Express vs Road Warriors (JCP – 11/27/1986)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Elliott - 97
If as good as the April match, count me in.
It’s the scaffold match so its awesome because they’re inches away from death at all times.
605-T. Vader vs. Cactus Jack (WCW - 10/24/1993)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Mattsdmf - 97
Punches? I think I liked this. Been a while.
Big fan of this feud. I don’t think any of them are MOTYCs in this LOADED year but they’re all great matches and well worth your time. The sort of great secondary feud that really helps their GWE cases.
605-T. Dick Togo vs. Jushin Liger (NJPW - 6/17/1996)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Tim Livingston - 97
Portly Togo! Liger big man on campus! This rules.
I'd rather watch this than most of the big 90s Juniors matches. These two should have had a 50 matches togheter.
605-T. Canis Lupus vs Trauma I (IWRG - 9/4/2016)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1High Vote: Kas - 97
Amazing match. Nearly made my ballot last time.
This has never landed for me like I’d hoped based on reading people's thoughts about it. Somethings missing for me.
Fuck it, I’m with you. Every match. Lets do it! My replies are in bold
