° First of all, a few months go I heard/read that the wrestler 'Abyss', when he was wrestling in TNA, WWE offered for him to debut at a Royal Rumble ppv, and then have a match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania ..... and he turned them down. He said no, because he was loyal to TNA. That's what I have been led to believe. I dont know if that is accurate, but if it is, then.... wow, that's pretty impressive. What a guy. I've not seen any of his matches, actually. Maybe one of you could let me know if he's a spectacular wrestler
° Secondly, as I'm sure you already know, 2-Cold-Tony announced on Dynamite that AEW All-In will be held at Wembley Stadium, London, in August 2023. I am not sure how Tony acquired the rights to the name 'All-In', but he has them now, apparently. Wembley has a capacity of 90,000 apparently, and I am very keen to see if AEW is able to sell the venue out. A popular youtube wrestling personality said something like 'they'll be able to sell 50 thousand tickets or so'. It would be really awesome if AEW could sell the venue out.
With this being the 2nd All-In event, and the preceding AEW PPV being 2 months prior (Forbidden Door), All-In is gonna be a stacked ppv for sure, and Tony is probably going to be trying to make the annual All-In PPV AEW's equivalent of Wrestlemania, as the name 'All-In' seems to be a legendary name in the die-hard wrestling fan community.
° Tony purchasing Ring Of Honor seems like a really good idea as he had way too many wrestlers under contract, and he can get some of those who have been inactive to wrestle on Ring Of Honor shows. I just realized that.
° I'm not surprised Jay White decided to sign for AEW given how light the average AEW wrestler's schedule is. Dream job .
° I'm guessing WWE are planning to have The Rock vs Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 40, so I dont think Roman is going to lose any of his belts until at least April 2024. I think WWE plan to have Gunther wrestle Roman if an agreement with The Rock cannot be reached, and so I dont think Gunther will be wrestling for either of the World Title belts until at least wrestlemania 40 as WWE wont want to have them two face each other before WM40.....which leads me to believe that Gunther will be Intercontinental champ until at least early 2024.
° On another subject, today I purchased Saturday Night Slam-Masters for my Xbox Series X. Its only £0.85p, and is a sub-game (or an 'Add-on') of the 'Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium' game. Street Fighter Alpha 3 is another CA2S game, and is the same price, and that's such an insane bargain for the arcade rom of SFA 3. I game on my Xbox regularly, so if anyone else here has an xbox, I can yell you my gamer tag.
°I recently learned of the G1 Supercard Show at Madison Square Garden. I really enjoy watching MSG wrestling shows, so I hope to watch the show on the internet one day. I don't watch many wrestling matches or events, but I will certainly make time for an MSG show, as my favourite show of all time is Royal Rumble 2000 (held at MSG) which I saw live on TV and the atmosphere at that show was just magical. I may have to watch a low-res video on bilibili.com or whatever but it beats paying for NJPW World or whatever its called.
°I have a question. When Kevin Nash and Scott Hall went to WCW, Vince then had Fake Diesel and Fake Scott Hall on WWF programming. I have never known why he did this. Surely he didnt try to have WWF fans believe that those two guys were really Diesel and Razor. Do any of you know why Vince had those two guys play Disel and Razor?
