I don't have it in me to go through every single match but I've got some thoughts. Feel free to use this as a reaction thread or start your own or use the results thread. Whatever!
825-T. Chris Jericho vs Kenny Omega (NJPW - 1/4/2018)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: el_wreino - 100
When I watched this in 2018, I thought this was the best Jericho match I'd ever seen & up to that point the only Omega match I'd been able to finish. I prefer to hold onto the memory that this is a great match than risk hating it on a rewatch.
825-T. The Great Muta vs Scott Norton (NJPW - 8/2/1997)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: grimmas - 100
Maybe the best Norton match that I can recall & Norton is better than his reputation so that's not faint praise. Muta rules & they have a terrific match.
825-T. Hulk Hogan & Dennis Rodman vs Lex Luger & The Giant (WCW Bash at the Beach 7/13/1997)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Elliott - 100
At its best, wrestling is simple. You don't need to chop each other until your chests are bleeding or intentionally concuss yourself to prove your passion or respect for da bizness. That's mark shit. Sometimes a leapfrog and an armdrag are holy shit spots.
825-T. Nobuhiko Takada vs Bob Backlund (UWFi - 12/22/1988)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Cap - 100
This is a terrific match and I'm more surpirsed it only got one vote than I'd be had it been in the top 100.
825-T. Buddy Rose vs Lonnie Mayne (Portland 10/1/1977)
Total Points: 1
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: mvz - 100
There are just so many matches. Something I considered but ultimately didn't make it. Probably makes a top 150 and definitely makes a top 200.
817-T. Carlos Colon vs Abdullah the Butcher (WWC - 7/27/1991)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: mvz - 99
There are a few different versions of this match that are worthy of votes. This is the one with the pants ripping & cinder block though so it's probably the best one.
817-T. Ultimate Warriors vs Heenan Family (WWF - 11/23/1989)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Grimmas - 99
Grimmas always was a Shawn Michaels & Arn Anderson fan.
817-T. Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Genichiro Tenryu (AJPW - 8/31/1987)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: el_wreino - 99
Cool to see this get a vote. If someone wanted to vote for all 4 of their big singles matches from 87-89, I wouldn't argue it.
817-T. Andy Kaufman vs Jimmy Hart (CWA - 7/11/1983)
Total Points: 2
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Elliott - 99
Like Volk Han vs Tamura.
803-T. Randy Savage vs Tito Santana (WWF - 4/22/1986)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: NintendoLogic - 97
I can never remember which match is which but the whole feud is awesome.
803-T. Hulk Hogan/Andre The Giant v. Nick Bockwinkel/Bobby Heenan/Bobby Duncum/Ken Patera (AWA - 11/7/1982)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: [Darren] - 97
Something everyone should see.
803-T. Bruno Sammartino vs Ken Patera (WWF - 3/7/1977)
Total Points: 4
# of Ballots: 1
High Vote: Elliott - 97
An awesome match that feels like a borderline competitive squash at times because Bruno is so dominant & Patera does such a great job stooging & bumping for him. If it was just slightly less one sided it could've been like 90 spots higher. Or not made it at all. Who knows. Just check it out. Patera is really cool.
