I really wish it hadn't been called the greatest match on US soil. I think it has more or less ruined any discourse about it for at least a few months. I thought it absolutely ruled. It was built around a clear idea and dynamic that kept coming back. The physicality was there, as was the creativity. I found myself sucked in and immersed in the action. It isn't my current MOTY (but it is on the short-ish list), but I think it is a very reasonable nomination for this project as some folks are going to get more enjoyment out of it and for some very valid reasons.

Watched this over the weekend and thought it was pretty sensational. It's a contender for Ospreay's best match (along with the Shingo match at BOSJ) and is up there for best Bryan match. The contrast between Ospreay's dynamism and Bryan's grittiness was handled expertly, and I dug the story of Ospreay often overreaching, whether through hubris or just going for certain moves at the wrong time, and Bryan cutting him off in different ways.
Only time will tell whether this is remembered as one of the best US matches ever, and while my initial reaction is to put this a step below that level, it's still a fantastic match in my eyes.
