Looks like the main guys who take a hit are Jumbo and Taue due them having most of their memorable performances in tags and 6-mans. Also Jumbo is kind of a matter of taste as I didn't think his pre-1988 stuff held up that well for me last time I revisited it. Need to revisit Akiyama's post-2000 stuff still.

The two matches with Charlotte and the two ones with Bayley, I haven't seen yet the one with Becky. Definitely watch Becky vs. Sasha at Takeover: Unstoppable. It's the first classic Sasha match (probably first classic WWE women's match ever for that matter) and might just sneak on my list. I don't think you could fully appreciate the Bayley matches without seeing this one. It's where Sasha really establishes her character traits of humiliating people to try cure her own insecurities, making her Bayley's polar opposite.
So this is where I'm at at the moment:
8 Matches Stan Hansen, John Cena, Steve Austin
7 Matches Mitsuharu Misawa
5 Matches
Triple H, Kenta Kobashi, Toshiaki Kawada, Shawn Michaels, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Ric Flair
4 Matches Samoa Joe, Kazuchika Okada, Aja Kong, Bret Hart, Brock Lesnar, Sasha Banks, Chris Benoit
Which is really just exposing my viewing gaps more than anything. Triple H should not be that high... I don't even like him most of the time how did that happen.

fxnj, interesting Kawada beats Kobashi in the variety contest and Misawa in the total number of matches. Not a name I would have expected. I'm assuming Foley RR2000 and Bryan WM30. What else?

fxnj, interesting Kawada beats Kobashi in the variety contest and Misawa in the total number of matches. Well, I'm just a huge mark for Kawada's working style. When he's on, he pretty much encompasses everything I love about wrestling. Watching his peak level stuff and comparing it to everything else for this project has just made me appreciate even more how great he was. Wouldn't have any issues if someone who preferred watching Kobashi or Misawa had them above Kawada, especially if they're not as high on his 2000's work.

Yep those two plus the WM20 main event, Austin NWO2001 and the Austin/HHH vs. Benoit/Jericho tag match. All great matches that ought to be considered. But they're towards the bottom of my current Top 100 and there's load of stuff I want to watch/rewatch before I rank them, so he's probably artificially high because modern WWE is the only area I have no viewing gaps.
