Ballots for the first annual Greatest Match Ever poll are open. Please use the linked google form to submit your current top 100 matches. This project will now come together to create a community wide list annually, so this does not spell the end of the board or the project as a whole. Below you will find some important things to remember and dates. If you have questions or concerns please respond here or DM me. A mod will try to get to them as quickly as possible.
Dates
3/15 (11:59PM EST) - Please have all nominations completed by March 15th. We are gong to need some time to sort out and move all the existing and remaining nominations before the ballots are officially due and continue nominating might make that impossible. If a match doesn't get nominated this year it can't be voted on. However, the nomination process will open back up after mania for next year.
4/1 - If there are still matches after 4/1 that you really want to vote for that have not been moved form the nomination thread please let a moderator know. We will work then to get those over quickly and/or re-review nominations
4/7 (close of Mania) - Make sure your ballot is submitted by the end of the big show. I will be closing the ballot and no new submissions will be accepted. Please make sure you get yours in. Once you submit you cannot edit your form.
Things to Remember
Please list matches as they appear on the match index. If there is a typo you may fix it. If there are any issues with dates (air date vs when the match happened, typos, mistakes) please make a note under the match in your submission. This will help us make sure all the matches get counted correctly.
If you want to submit your ballot early and you want to vote for a match that we have not moved over from the nomination thread yet and you have time, send me a message and I will try to give it a quick look and let you know if we are moving it over eventually. If you are on a time crunch, my instinct would be to go ahead and vote for what you want if you think it has been nominated correctly (either a paragraph of support or 2 additional supporting votes from other members). Again, we aren't trying to keep matches OUT of contention, but we might not be as quick sorting matches as you are voting. Hopefully we can get caught up and keep up better as the project continues.

Edit: Please copy and paste the address into your search or address bar. I have tried a number of different things in terms of adding the link directly and each time it just takes me back to the form when I click it directly. I'm a little confused about how the nominations deadline works. Is the deadline just for making new threads, or does it mean you can't second anything after the deadline either? It would be nice to have some extra leeway on seconding threads in the case of the former.

If I understood Cap correctly, you have till April 1st to second/third matches and move them into the nominees thread if needed. |

Just a quick note... I am not sure how much time we are going to be able to dedicate to getting all the nominations sorted. Its a big task. If something is still in the nomination process thread but it has a second and third OR it was advocated for with a thorough paragraph you may still vote on it even if we haven't moved it over. With any luck we can get that sorted out more thoroughly before next year. We are basically going to be operating on the honors system as I don't think we will have time to go through every match voted on and make sure it was nominated properly.
