Manami Toyota & Toshiyo Yamada vs Dynamite Kansai & Mayumi Ozaki (2/3 Falls - WWWA Tag Team Championship - AJW - 4/11/1993)
Personally I think this matches up with the first match and in some ways I might like it better. The first fall coming so quickly is a nice wrinkle that I thought added a lot of urgency to the rest of the match. It isn't a good Joshi match unless you are sure someone has died at least once in the match. I thought someone had died at least 2-3 times in this one. Action bell to bell. Really fun, edge of your seat stuff for the most part. I loved it.

Seconded. This is a classic match and has a decent shot of making my list, but it was actually my least favorite of their trilogy the last time I watched them all. Still a great match with spectacular work, pace and I'll second any and all matches with Mayumi Ozaki involved.

This should walk into my Top 20. I might actually consider it for the top 10. A truly outstanding match that gets unfairly overlooked because it follows DreamRush. Brilliant continuity and payoffs from DreamRush. Great action and drama. Toyota was the star for me.

1993-04-11 Dynamite Kansai & Mayumi Ozaki vs. Manami Toyota & Toshiyo Yamada [WWWA World Tag Team Championship] (AJW Dream Slam II @ Osaka Prefectural Gynasium in Osaka, Japan) This was a two-out-of-three falls match from Dream Slam II. JWP vs. AJW. This was the re-match of their famous match from November 1992. Don’t miss the first few seconds of the match, because it is an important part of this match. It was a great match that was probably the best match from that show and possibly the second-best match that month. I think this is my second favorite match in the trilogy (after their Dream Rush match from November 1992).

First things first, the pacing and urgency in this match is unreal. To keep up that level of intensity for a sustainable amount of time. I feel that this is one of the greatest displays of endurance and all 4 women deserve credit for the degree of difficulty and level of intensity put into this match! Easy 5 stars from me.

Yep I thought this was really good too, maybe the third fall was a hair too long toward the end but there was so much to love. Once again I want to give love to Ozaki with her endless bag of tricks. She has a tough role to pull off but she does it really well.

Kansai getting the first fall so quickly and decisively is brilliant. It’s a slow build from there to Toyota getting the second fall and then it’s all out. Ozaki and Kansai may be one of my favorite teams of all time and I definitely need to check out more of their work against each other. This doesn’t get as amazing as the first match but what does? Love this.
