2/3 Falls match for the vacant WWWA Tag Titles. Hisako Uno is a pre-gimmick Akira Hokuto and this is the earliest great match I've seen her in thus far. Terrific stuff that is worked like a classic southern tag match in the first fall with the Glamour Girls cutting the ring in half and dominating the younger smaller wrestlers. Terrific finish in the 2nd fall as the future Hokuto hits a springboard dive and Leliani Kai sells it like she's broken her forearm. Great stuff that puts a dangerous dive over the top rope (in 1987!) over as devastating move. Kai may have actually broken her arm because she's out for the rest of the match. This is also a great way to transition to the youngsters having an opportunity to go on offense & strut their stuff. They were overmatched in a straight tag, but 2 on 1 helps overcome the size & experience disadvantage. Eventually Dump Matsumoto runs in and starts stabbing Hotta in the face and brawling around ring-side to even the odds. Dump is eventually just left leaving it 2 on 1 again and opening the door for the upset win. This was a really fun tag match. Pretty basic structure & psychology but well done all around.

This was a fun match. Judy Martin stood out as someone with a little bit of an edge to her even when I was watching her in the WWF when I was growing up, so it was cool to see her here. Great ending the the second fall and chaos reigns after that.
