Burning Wild (Jun Akiyama/Takao Omori) vs. Xceed (Go Shiozaki/Kento Miyahara) (AJPW - 8/29/2015)

I don't think I've seen a better match out of 2010s AJPW. A well constructed experienced challengers vs. up-and-coming champions match-up. The standout wrestler is not remotely surprising but the youngsters do well and Omori is an effective grizzled vet. Well-defined roles and great action lead to an Ikeda-vs.-lower-ranked-opponent-type finishing stretch between Akiyama and Go.
