THIS IS ON POWERBOMB.TV!!! tl;dr GUY IN A CHICKEN SUIT BLEEDING AND FLYING. If you hate chickens this is a definitive pick. Match is not only insane but actually quite the great bloodbath. Great timing with the big bumps and moves, Comando Negro is a really good rudo, and the chicken is way better than he has any right to be. Also, MIDGET VIOLENCE!

IWRG closing out a great year in style with a match that only makes sense in lucha. A bloody and brutal apuestas match involving a guy in a chicken suit taking on one of the top guys in the promotion. Hell of a lucha spectacle.

Merging the two nominations for this and giving this an ENTHUSIASTIC third.
First and foremost, this is - as both jetlag and fxnj tried to tell us years ago - an incredible lucha spectacle. I was watching it with Andy this past weekend and we kept talking about how Pollo looks like a b-level horror movie villain. His bloody chicken mask half falling off as he stumbles around half beaten to death one minute and trying to do murder the next. Just aesthetically I think this is wildly fun and fascinatingly unique.
On top of that... it is a pretty good lucha match. It isn't all surface. There is a ton of substance to it. They beat the ever loving shit out of each other and I think they tell a pretty solid story throughout. The falls don't really come in quite the same predictable kind of way. It is rough around the edges and that bleeds into even the structure of the match.
I am not sure this is going to make my list, but I'm not ruing it out just out of my shear enthusiasm for what I watched.

This is an absolutely unbelievable match. There’s just something so damn compelling about watching a guy wrestle in a chicken suit than watching said chicken suit turn red from the amount of blood he loses during the match.
