Excellent mat-based contest. Pretty much just two of the top workers from WOS putting on a clean match for the fans. I get a kick out of how respectful they keep it, but the work they do is pretty great as well.

second.its funny to me when people say face vs face match with a sense of competition and no quasi heel work is some avant grade shit as wos just has so many examples of that. this is just a vaccum type match which can only be enjoyed in that. not to say this has no character work but its just a no nonsense competition match between two guys just trying to win there isnt more to it than that. it is so simple yet awesome with great spots fun counters good grappling reversals great job of building excellent execution good struggle. some blow away spots in matwork super fast but for the most part its clean. also great urgency.

The moment in the match where Myers kept himself up during the Romero Special blew me away. Incredible stuff. The match was wrestled straight and true by both wrestlers who relied on their skill above all else to win the match. Great grappling filled competitive counters. ****

Now let’s go to the match, the announcer presented both wrestlers as champions in their respective countries, Clive Myers is jamaican and Alan Sarjeant is english. Alan Sarjeant was famous for his amazing escapes and he showed that from the very beginning of the contest escaping Myers’ full nelson with ease. Sarjeant felt like the better wrestler troughout the match, he escaped a boston crab in a way that I can’t describe with words. After twenty minutes of action the match went to the third round, the third round is full of pin attempts and high impact moves like the butterfly suplexes that Myers applied, after 21 minutes Myers got the pin with a sunset flip.
A match that I highly recommend this match to everyone that likes catch-as-catch-can wrestling.

Great technical match. Clive Myers always delivers it seems.
