Creating a Match Thread

A quick note about creating match threads. I am trying to create some consistency for match thread titles and then the index.  We will take care of the index, but for clarity and for organization please (PLEASE PLEASE) try to follow the basic formula for creating your title/headline for your match threads.

When possible include full names and then in parenthesis include promotion (or location if no promotion) and full date (or whatever we know).

Example: Hulk Hogan vs King Kong Bundy (WWF - 4/7/1986)

If it is longer and won't fit please just try to cut down in reasonable ways.

- Cut names to just last names

- Abbreviate promotions (Lucha Underground = LU)

In your actual thread please try to include other relevant information, like stipulations. When we put matches in the index we want to include these.

Obviously a lot of it is judgement, but do your best to make the match clear and include the promotion and the full date and to include the parenthesis and dashes between.

This makes this aesthetically more pleasing, more organized, and will make things MUCH easier for us to when we are organizing the index and then in turn the ballots in the future.
