I had never seen this before somehow. My gut reaction is to say its on the level of the Chigusa matches which were both in my top 10. I'm going to have to come back to this match soon but consider my socks knocked off.

This is an unbelievable match. Dump is at her absolute monsterous peak. This is all brawling, run ins, emotion etc. Ohmori was an incredible wrestler. The hidden gem of the 80s AJW legends for sure. You've heard all about Chigusa, Jaguar, Dump & Devil, the Jumping Bomb Angels, etc. But Yukari Ohmori was just as good. She could brawl with Dump & Devil or work classic title matches against Chigusa. This is on the level of the best matches ever. Anytime scissors are dangling out of your arm and you keep brawling, youre a legend. But this is a Dump performance for the ages.

This is an absolute horror show of a match. Don't watch it late at night, your screams might annoy the neighbours.

Dump Matsumoto is the only wrestler who could pull a chainsaw out that I'd believe might actually use it.

Just finished this. Well, that was quite the donnybrook. Reminded me of the Strikeforce Nashville and UFC 254 brawls with corners clearing and there being absolute chaos.
Now I've seen a lot of bloody and violent matches. Occasionally death matches will have a spot or two that make me cringe. But the ending is probably the most uncomfortable I've ever been watching a match.

Holy shit.
Honestly, is there anyone in wrestling history more singular than Dump is? I think she is very much in that conversation. I never know what to make of her high end matches. They seem less like matches and more like experiments in violence, chaos, and spectical. This match is like 2 minutes of wrestling and the rest is chaos, and running with scissors, and literal assault.
I'm not sure what to say about this. This is incredible. It probably misses my list, but there are lots of other types of lists or ways of thinking about wrestling that this would be up near the top. Fantastic, visceral stuff that is hard to imagine seeing in wrestling in 2020.

Amazing to think that hardcore wrestling fans in Japan in the 80s saw AJW as something for Young girls to watch and not good wrestling.

For real... some of this 80s stuff is simultaneously great wrestling AND something I would not show my young niece yet.

I think mid 80s AJW is the best promotion ever. Probably 84-87. Because you get these Matsumoto matches but then the Crush Gals, Jumping Bomb Angel's, Devil, Jaguar and Ohmori all capable of state of the art classic wrestling matches. Mix in the most invested crowd in history. I fucking love 80s AJW.

I wouldn't argue it, honestly. I'm - relativity speaking - dipping my toes in 80s AJW lately, but it feels like this chaotic, special, and singular time that made all the 90s stuff possible.

Fans crying in the audience is not something you usually see anymore. And I largely agree with Cap's sentiment. I have no idea how to rate this as an actual match but as an angle/segment, it's bonkers.
