What is there to say. His list of great matches is long. I was surprised to see his work didn't do as well as I imagined in the first list, but I imagine that has something to do with people being sort of split on his great matches.

For me itss not really a case of being split on his best matches. I think they're all great, its a matter of how great. I think inherently brawls are better than title matches. Among technical or title match styles, I prefer shoot & lucha to 70s & 80s NWA. So my inherent biases hurt Flair because I'm just not going to have 15 NWA title matches on my list and Flair might have 11 or 12 of the top 15. I voted for GAB 89, the Morton Cage match, Rumble 92 & Wargames 87. So brawling/covered in blood Flair did well for me.
If we did a top 200 list, all those great Flair title matches would make it for me.

2005-2006 garbage wrestler Flair is awesome. I'd recommend the Triple H matches and the Big Show ECW match. The Summerslam 06 match vs. Foley is the GOAT I Quit match and one of the finest matches either guy ever had.

I remember loving garbage Flair at this time, especially what he brought out of HHH. Makes me want to check some of this stuff out again and I really haven't had much motivation to until now.

What's the best Flair tag match? It's been a while since I watched a Flair tag, and none of the ones I've seen have knocked my socks off. If I had to pick one off the top of my head, I'd go with Flair/Sting vs. Slater/Muta.
