When I was a kid they were my favorite team by a country mile. They also scared the shit out of me. As I grew older and my tastes in wrestling changed they trickled down the list a bit, but you can't deny they still have some quality stuff on their resume, especially WarGames.

Are they the most successful team of all time from a drawing standpoint? Am I forgetting someone obvious?
I guess I'll always be a mark for the Road Warriors. Objectively I think they do lack an all time classic tag match and I might not even be able to get to 5 matches I think they had that are truly great. But I somehow still think they're a great tag team. Even when they were young green workers no selling everything their combination of charisma & big power spots really made the whole better than the sum of its parts. They're amazing in squash matches, like two peak Goldbergs. They were "limited" workers for sure but were so charismatic it more than made up for their limitations. That charisma combined with a few things they could execute well (Powerslams & Press slams) and good booking means I always look forward to prime Road Warriors matches.
Also worth pointing out they are fucking awesome in the first War Games match. That's kind of the perfect setting for them.
Also the "Doomsday Device" is the best tag team finish and move name ever.

Oh I still think there are great. There might not be a team in the world I love watching squashes from, and that is high praise because the competitions is stiff (pun intended).

I would think La Pareja Atómica (El Santo and Gory Guerrero) might have been bigger.
