Not sure there is a more divisive team in wrestling. Honestly, I love what they do as businessmen and they have a hand full of matches I really like and appreciate, but their style isn't really my favorite. Still, they have good matches and really do it for some people.

The Bucks are one of my favorite tag teams and I really enjoy what they do. However, for every WON award they've won for best tag team, I actually think they've been bested for the past couple years. 2016 it was the Revival. 2017 it was the Usos. 2018 could be argued for Golden Lovers. And they certainly have their annoying tendencies. In ROH and PWG, it seemed that they were so focused on catering to the crowd that they would end up dominating 70% of the match, even against much larger opponents who should've been tossing them around. Not to mention they would end up working "face" when they were really the heels.
With that being said, their best stuff is truly terrific. The Golden Lovers match is my favorite U.S. tagteam match ever. They are the masters of the spotfest. And when working in Japan where there seems to be less of an expectation for them to play the hits, they've proven to have great psychology and be excellent sellers. Matt Jackson's back selling in 2018 was one of the best long-term stories of the year. Their ability to work with so many tag teams and get good matches out of virtually all of them actually makes a very compelling case for them as best in the world even if I've had my reservations. The fact that they got a genuinely good match out of the Guerrillas of Destiny, the most over-pushed and mediocre tag team in the world, speaks volumes to their ability.

I've been trying to be more open minded about the Bucks. I'd like to like them since we're from the same hometown, but so far the only match of theirs I've liked is the Revolution 2020 vs Kenny/Hangman since it told a story. I tried an ROH match of theirs vs reDragon hoping it would be submissions vs high flying but it devolved into spot-fu pretty quickly.
