Would very likely be in my top 5 luchadores, but I know some would call him the best ever. Had an absolutely monster peak run that compares well with any 2 year run anyone had. El Dandy might well have been the best wrestler in the world from 88-90, and think of the ground that covers. At his peak he could literally do it all with all time great technical matches and brawls, huge bumping, great offense. He was one of the smoothest and most charismatic wrestlers ever. Pre prime the available footage is limited but he looks really good as early as 1984. Post prime he has more variety of great matches like vs Black Warrior of the triangle match with Santo & Casas. Has top matches as good as anyone.

Yeah. He is a peak guy for sure. really tremendous. Its a shame he is remembered primarily for that Hart promo in WCW by so many. ha

I think the way El Dandy takes back drops is really annoying. Like he's an Olympic high diver. That said, everyone should watch the 1988 match with Pirata Morgan immediately if they haven't seen it or haven't seen it in a while. www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_ejtcXn0Vo
