I think lack of variety hurts them, otherwise they might run away with the #1 spot for me.

There may be no other tag team that is as exciting as they are frustrating. There's never a dull moment in an LCO match and they always brought a great deal of violence and brutality. But at the same time, it gets very annoying when comeback segments against them never last longer than 30 seconds because they won't sell a beat-down (especially against more powerful opponents like Inoue and Aja). And I get that a lot of time they used chairs or illegal run-ins during a match. But it's very much a case of diminishing returns when their opponents can never get their heat back. The match against Aja and Inoue especially sticks out to me because they're going up against two more powerful opponents and yet are wrestling 50-50 with them. There's a point where Aja practically fills up Korakuen with a fire extinguisher and the spot leads...nowhere as Mita and Shimoda are walloping them with chairs again. Granted, they right the ship after that but it's still a spot of annoyance.
I reiterate that I haven't seen a match of theirs that I didn't like. Rage in a Cage made my top 15. The match against Maekawa and Watanabe is currently hovering around my top 120. I just wish they sold more in their matches.
