Chris Adams would be on my list of top 100 Greatest Wrestlers Ever. I think he's one of the more underrated wrestlers of his generation. He was good as a heel and face in singles & tags. Could have really good brawls and title matches. Had one of the more dynamic offenses for US wrestlers of the 80s. His tope especially stood out. Best superkick in wrestling too. Awesome tag team with Gino.
Had great singles matches with Kerry & Kevin Von Erich, Terry Gordy, Terry Taylor, Gino, Flair, Jimmy Garvin, Buzz Sawyer, Jake Roberts, rookie Steve Austin at a minimum. Its not really surprising to have a great match with Ric Flair or Kerry Von Erich, but Chris Adams had legit great matches against Terry Taylor and Jimmy Garvin. Maybe the best Terry Gordy singles match I've ever seen. He even showed up in WCW in the late 90s and had random good matches on Thunder and WCWSN. I mean, Chris Adams was just an awesome wrestler. I haven't even really looked at his earlier stuff in Portland and WoS.
I don't think he has the absolute top tier blow away all time match you'd like to see. But he still has a great resume' of matches.
