Figured he probably deserves a thread. His 1989 is considered an all time great year, but his 1988 and 1990 aren't too shabby either. 89 though really is an amazing year in terms of in ring and character work. He was awesome as a member of the Horsemen and then even better as a Flair opponent. Outside of the holy duo of Flair feuds (Steamboat & Funk) an argument can be made that Lex was Flair's best opponent. Awesome stuff with Steamboat, Pillman, Tommy Rich, Hansen and even guys like Michael Hayes and Danny Spivey.
Fun resurgence as a Nitro worker in 96. But 89-90 is spectacular.
