I need to take a real look at early 90s JWP one day because Devil Masami looks like the best wrestler on the planet here. I'm a broken record in regards to Devil's facial expressions but, Devil's facial expressions are to Devil as Lawler's punches are to Lawler. You kind of have to mention it, but ESPECIALLY in this match. Yamazaki would be another great choice for the most underrated wrestler of all time. She was the better worker in the Jumping Bomb Angels and has a number of excellent singles matches to her name, and this one is no different. This has the built in psychology of smaller popular high flyer vs larger more dominant heel and they do a fantastic job playing that up with Yamazaki keeping Devil off balance with dives and speed. Eventually Yamazaki focuses on Devil's leg and we get some great selling. Devil's probably the best or second best seller in Josi so its fun to watch. But what really sets this apart are Devil's facial expressions. Whether she's selling pain or mocking or intimidating, she is just outstanding. Devil might be the best actor in wrestling history.

Devil’s offense in this match was killer. Work on the mat that looked like it was torturing Yamazaki and some powerful bombs. Yamazaki is great at selling too then gradually chips away at Devil who also sold great. It may not be a contender for a top 100 matches list but told a good story and had great performances.
