Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Genichiro Tenryu (AJPW - 4/19/1990)

This isn’t on the level of their absolute best matches, but it is actually an excellent match. Hansen runs out and kills Tenryu with a lariat before Jumbo even comes out and Tenryu has to try and climb the Jumbo mountain with the lariat hanging over him the whole time. Awesome structure with Jumbo largely beating the shit out of Tenryu and Tenryu using all of his guile to try and make comebacks. Great shit.
