Rick & Scott Steiner vs Steve Williams & Terry Gordy (WCW Clash of the Champions XIX - 6/16/92)
Fantastic match. Both teams look awesome. The Steiners can’t just toss MVC around willy-nilly, so they are forced to work for all of their big spots. All the early matwork is really fun and engaging and then when “tempers flare” and they turn up the violence it is just awesome. Scott plays FIP & gets his leg worked over and is actually really good. The finish is awesomeSo this has a structure & escalation often missing in the best Steiner’s matches. Loved this.
