A truly one-of-a-kind light-tube deathmatch where there is only one light tube, and the first to break it loses. Pinfalls and submissions are also still in effect. They give a quick demonstration of the rules before the match as well. Brimming with creativity, as they do all they can to avoid the light tube, and it's amazing just how much tension they can get out of a stipulation like this. Also an absolute breeze to watch at only 12 minutes long.

I'll second this. Not even really a MOTYC, but I could totally see how some might view it as one. The stipulation sounds like it would be really stupid but they are inventive as hell with the approach. Really had me on the edge of my seat with a few of the spots.

This was awesome. One of the more innovative matches that few companies can pull off. The way they laid out traps for each other was great, and the way they got out of them was better. Akito was so smooth and quick, really impressed with this. ASUKA did a great job of working in her moves to flow with the match too. ****1/4
Comedy matches are an underrated form of wrestling. They are great.

Super fun nomination. Not something that'll end up on my ballot but both workers deserve a ton of credit for making a match that sounds wacky on paper extremely exciting and engaging. Definetly one of my favorite watches of this year
