I've seen criticisms that he was a bit too go-go-go and didn't sell enough, and while there are certainly examples of that (taking a Liger Bomb from the turnbuckle in the 2/16/1997 match and putting the boots to Liger just seconds later), he's been one of my favorite junior heavyweight wrestlers to watch. He was a great mix of stiff striking, slick groundwork, and the occasional high-flying spot. He always brought a lot of intensity and while that occasionally led to the aforementioned no-selling, he's so much fun to watch. His 90's work is definitely his best, but he has some gems in the early 2000's like the Fujita Hayato and Masahito Kakihara matches.

What's the date on that Kakihara match? I've never been a fan of Kanemoto in the 90s, but I have always really liked Kakihara. Worst Tiger Mask. I can't think of a single memorable TM3 match. And then when he dropped the mask and become "surly and dickish Kanemoto" I always enjoyed him more in theory than in reality.
