Mentioned else where that while I admired King Kong Bundy he probably wasn't one of the top 10 Super Heavyweights. So it got me thinking what that list would look like. I haven't made a list yet, but I came up with a list of candidates and wanted to see who else people thought of and what their lists would look like.
So far I've got the following list of "nominees"
Abdullah, Aja Kong, Andre, Awesome Kong, Bam Bam Bigelow, Big Boss Man, Big John Studd Big Show, Braun Strowman, Bull Nakano, Don Leo Jonathan, Dump Matsumoto, Dusty Rhodes, Ernie Ladd, Gary Albright, Giant Baba, Jerry Blackwell, John Tenta, Kamala, King Kong Bundy, Mark Henry, One Man Gang, otto Wanz, Phil Hickerson, Reggie Bennett, Super Porky, Takeshi Morishima, Tank, The Undertaker, Vader, Yokozuna.
Obviously the Joshi wrestlers aren't "Super Heavyweights" like the male wrestlers, but compared to their peers and given how they worked, it seems like they need to be included. Like Aja's realistically probably the size of Dick Togo but I wouldn't include her on a best Juniors list.
There are some other borderline people I couldn't really decide on. Folks I don't really think of as being "super heavyweights" but could possibly be included. I tend to think of them as the gate keepers. If you're bigger than them, you're a super heavyweight. Specifically Hansen, Lesnar, Brody, Scott Norton.
I felt weird about including Giant Baba and almost didn't on purpose. He doesn't really work like a Super Heavyweight, but obviously he has the size though so I ended up included him.
Who else should be considered?
