We are on the same page for sure. I think this is how I have to watch WWE. I enjoyed the chamber for what it was, but as I dabble a little on twitter (cutting way back on that) and listen to podcasts it is clear that others thought it was trash. I might feel that way if I watched everything, but as a change of pace with a few flashy things, it was fun enough.
I don't really get frustrated, other than when I think about the talent and see how they use them. It isn't all bad. It is just bland.
I also just heard that Brock busting out of the pod was a shoot. He just decided to do it. Brock is legit a top all-timer to me and big banter/having fun brock is so awesome. I get that his booking is a bit one denominational and he isn't inspiring to some as the one to unseat Roman, but Brock just stands out so much on that show. No one feels on his level to me. There are a lot of people/things to blame for that, but it is what it is. Brock is just so great. He is one of the few things from the show that stuck with me.

Anyone watch Survivor Series? I watched the main event because I am quite interested in the Zayne/Bloodline stuff. I thought the narrative threads in that match were pretty great, but as a match itself it didn't do much for me. I think the WWE is just too polished a visual product to do WarGames. It just felt sanitary.
Regardless, I'm on the hook for what happens to Sammy. I suspect it is going to break my heart.

I watched the whole show, but it was rough going till the mens WarGames match. I thought it was good but not a classic. I’m if two minds where I want WarGames to be violent and gritty, but it didn’t feel warranted here somehow.
I was all on board for the last few minutes though. We’ll see what happens from here.

I suppose that is the other thing. While it was the first Wargames on the WWE roster, it still felt obligatory somehow. It didn't really feel like a rivalry with enough to it yet. I mean, on paper it looked pretty awesome and you'd at least expect some crazy hard hits (which we got to an extent). Regardless, I felt that dissonance as well. Agreed on the last few minutes.

I haven’t been this excited for a match in a while. The story has been incredibly well told. The crowd is going to be incredibly hot for Sami and there’s no clear indication which way it’s gonna go. They’ve kinda set up a few different routes.
I also think Sami is at his peak in-ring which helps. The last few years since he came back from injury, he’s become such a master of simple psychology.
I have a lot of high hopes. But, it’s mostly genuinely tied to Me wanting him to win. And I love when that happens.

Yeah... I actually sent a text to my friend recently saying I haven't been this excited for a wwe match in ages. If I don't get to watch it tonight I'll definitely get on it tomorrow.

I have to work early Sunday morning, so these marathon premium live events on a Saturday are no bueno for me. Still, I'll definitely check out the world title match after the fact. I still think Cody should be the one to dethrone Roman, but I'm eager to see where they go with Sami, which hasn't been the case with a WWE storyline in I don't even know how long.

I’m not scared they’ll fuck it up. Because they’ve taken care. I just hope the route they take is the best one.
It’s weird having confidence in the company. Most of the the show is still terrible but they seem like they know they have something special here.

Fingers crossed. You know the crowd is gonna be insane so between that match & Sasha vs Kairi, it could be a special night.
