Here is one for ya...
Negro Casas vs El Dandy (CMLL Middleweight Title – 7/3/1992)
vs
Billy Robinson vs Giant Baba (PWF Title – 7/24/1976)
Two matches that I think are generally highly regarded (though I recently saw some slander on Robinson/Baba). For me, they are two matches that sort of slid down my list over the last two years, but not by any fault of the matches themselves. Casas/Dandy hasn't gotten a rewatch from me since we started the project I don't think. Baba and Robinson hasn't in some time. Matches that I have watched got sort of plugged in and each match slipped a bit from my original list. Hopefully I'll have some time this week to watch these two and see how they stack up.

I found both matches to be quite overrated, though to be fair I haven't watched Casas/Dandy in nearly 7 years.

When I saw the title I thought for a moment someone had nominated a Baba/Robinson vs. Dandy/Casas tag match and got all excited.

Found a lot of similarities in these matches. They were both really compelling championship matches that leaned on strong wrestling and physical storytelling, no bells and whistles. I found Baba/Robinson's a touch more compelling on this watch. I think Robinson and Casas both get a lot of credit for not just being the anchor points of the match, but adding a lot of character. Robinson came away as the most impressive of the four to me this time around. I can't say enough about the little bits of flair and personality that Dandy and Casas work into their grappling to make it stand out and feel different though. All the Same, Baba and Robinson work a match that captures my attention and imagination just a little bit more.
