The best thing to happen since Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon.

Just needed a Phenomenal Forearm. And a chainsaw.

They should have been covered in blood. But whatever. Infinity stars

In a business where everything has been done to death, that felt truly unique.

Not even the best match of his style (The Final Deletion is a 5* for me). But yeah, it was fun.

Ok, I'm going to direct nominate this for three reasons
1) I think my boy Elliott intends to vote for it
2) I do think it is one of the strongest representatives of the cinematic match, which has become a staple of the strange chapter of wrestling that is 2020.
3) While I don't buy it at all, this is - as of this writing (Aug 2020) - the last match of The Undertaker.
Now, this match doesn't have a shot at my list. Maybe one day my tastes will change or this will grow on me, but for now... none. That said, it really is well put together. It is masterfully done and proves that cinematic matches can capture the essence of pro wrestling outside traditional wrestling contexts. While Styles gets a lot of credit for this (well deserved), I have to topi my hat to taker. No wrestler on earth is a better fit for a cinematic match in 2020. He is a caricature left over from a bygone era, multiple caricature's even. This match could be built around that and it was. All the absurdity was grounded in the historical logic of Taker. The action was well framed and the story they told was mint. I think this is excellent and it really is a compelling part of 2020 and ultimately will be a compelling part of wrestling history. It just isn't making my list.

I thought so, but I couldn't find it. I think its because I was skimming through nominations looking for "2020" and SOMEONE (Elliott) titled it with the name of the show originally. That and our search function is trash b/c I literally searched "Boneyard" and it didn't come up for me. Ohh well... merged

Yes, the faulty search function has caused some confusion and resulted in pointless duplicates.
