Arn & Ole Anderson vs. Rock N Roll Express (JCP - 7/1/876)
One of the best tag team matches ever. This is like the US version of Kobashi/Kikuchi vs Can Ams. Basically tag team perfection.

Second on principle alone. I don't think I have seen this, but its two of my favorite tag teams.

Watched this yesterday. Really great match. Elite in places. Loses a little momentum into the homestretch and didn't quite feel satisfying (compared to the rest of the match). I'd put this in the great match category, but it falls a little short of being in real consideration for me. That said, I totally see how someone with slightly different tastes would rate this higher.

Is this 7/29? Cagematch has 7/19 as a 9 man elimination match

Actually, based on the finish, I think this is the 7/26 match match. Well, the one I watched on youtube that had 7/19 as the date is the one I think is the 7/26 match. I'll wait to change the title. Maybe I'm wrong

I'm wondering if we're having a date taped vs date aired on TV issue?

Maybe... Cagematch doesn't list an air date, but it might have aired multiple times. Assuming we are talking about the 20 minute draw, both cagematch and wrestlingdata list this as 7/26 though.

As far as I remember, one is from the 7/19/1986 edition of NWA World Championship Wrestling and the other from the 7/26/1986 Great American Bash card at the Greensboro Coliseum. Both different matches and all-time classics without a shadow of a doubt as well as their Steel Cage NWA World Tag Team Title bout from Starrcade 1986.

This is either 7/17 or 7/19. I've seen it listed as both, but based on the newest information I have, it appears to be 7/17. 7/26/86 is definitely a different match. I will update this to 7/17 for the time being. Changeo is right though. There are 3 matches between these teams in 1986 and they are all classics.

Ok... based on what elliott mentioned elsewhere, that seems to be the one.
Cage match has 7/18 as a 20 minute draw and 7/17 as a 30. That linked above is a 20 minute draw (unless it is drastically clipped and I forgot).
7/26 is also a 20 minute draw, but is from the GAB tour (night 12).
My guess is 18th... ?

The link you shared is of the 7/17 match. That is about 25 minutes of match so its definitely not a 20min draw.
7/19 was the date given like 10 years ago when it was on a comp. The newer and more likely to be correct information has this listed as 7/17. Whether its a situation where it was taped on 7/17 and aired on 7/19 I don't know. Or aired both days I don't know. I can tell you the match listed as 7/17 is the same as the match listed as 7/19 while the match between these teams listed as happening on 7/26 is a different match.
None of them are 7/18.

Anyway, I actually revisited the match and it is fucking amazing. Just a perfect tag match. Ricky looks incredible. Crowd is wild and really adds to the match. A must see match.
There are a couple of commercial breaks and the in-ring time is 25+ minutes so 7/17/86 seems to be accurate.

Ahh... I just looked and bell to bell it is about 23-24 on tape. I just assumed since the video was 25 there was enough on each end for it to be 20.
17 seems right then.
I hope to never spend this much time trying to sort a date out again.
