I'm going to go ahead and direct nominate this beast of a match, bc I couldn't find a thread for it. Randomly got turned onto this match on the twitter machine this week as I was planning to watch some 80s joshi that had been recommended to me. Specifically, I watched this right after watching the Bull/Dump v Crush Gals match from two years earlier. I actually came away preferring this by just a hair. We get Two quick falls. First, Nakano getting a pin on Asuka then Nagayo getting a pin on Condor . In that second fall Nagayo slaps Asuka in the face to get her fired up so they can get their win back. I really liked that and think they set a tone and pace early with the whole sequence. This features a lot of great back and forth and a lot of gritty violence. Lots of great double teams and break ups as well. This strikes me as sort of templet for some of the high end joshi tags in the 90s. The pace and violence and back structure just feels like resonates. This is chaotic and violent, but never really gets off the rails. It has a better direction than the 85 match but I don’t really think it sacrifices all that much in terms of violence and grit. Probably the crush gals best tag team work I have seen. Another hug feather in the cap of Bull Nakano as well. This is probably a lock for my list next year.

Well this is awesome.
Chigusa from 1984-1987 is as close to a guarantee for a great match as any run I've ever seen.

I loved the first 2 falls and the ref beatdown and then a nice build to the final fall. Hoping to get through more of these 80s joshi recommendations today.
