Dynamite Kansai vs. Mayumi Ozaki (Street Fight JWP - 7/9/1995)
A sequel to the absolute war they had just 4 months prior. This match is quite a bit longer (30+ minutes) and therefore more excessive. That is ultimately my one main criticism: Ozaki and Kansai throw SO MUCH at each other that it's hard to suspend your disbelief in both of them continuing to kick out. That being said, this is still awesome and just as bit violent if not more so than the April match.
The match starts with Kansai stalking Ozaki, who is waiting in the vom with the same chain as the last match. Before the entrance music cuts or we get any intros, we're off to the races. There's a lot of callbacks to the previous match with both relentlessly beating each other with the chain. There's also plenty of tables and chairs. And while I don't want to spoil too much, there's a famous spot in the last match that gets recreated not once, but twice. Most of the action takes place in the ring, but being in Korakuen gives them a lot of space to be creative. Again, it gets to be a bit excessive but the creativity in how they set up each spot and sequence gives everything a clear sense of escalation.
I don't know if this match exceeds the April match especially given the run time and amount spots, but it's really damn close.

I want to start by pointing out that the english translation they use of the gimick at the start was a "Dress Up Wild Fight"... AWESOME. I want to call all street fights Dress Up Wild Fights!
I watched this last night. I thought it was really great, but just a notch under the other one. I agree with bossrock's assessment of the length. I just caps this right under elite to me. Parts of it feel a touch less chaotically focused. I wouldn't necessarily call the other one focused or structured, but its the best example of just chaos and hatred holding everything together I can think of. This has a lot of that, but just a few small sections fall flat.
There are some 5 star parts of this match. I loved Dynamite strapping the pipe to her shin before laying some kicks in. The balance they have on that little table when they bring it in is incredible. There is a sunset flip power bomb to the outside that wasn't the smoothest, but served as the "did someone just die in this joshi match" moment that all top end joshi matches have. More globally, Dynamite bleeds buckets and sells like crazy for Ozaki. This is also, to me, the best version of Ozaki. If she spent her entire career being a psychopath in jeans and tattered shirts like she is going to an 80s hair metal show she would probably be my favorite wrestler of all time. She has this "I have a terrible fucking idea" look on her face for most of the match, which helps elevate it. The ending probably felt less disjointed from the body of the match than the first one. I don't mind the finish of the first one, but I know others have a problem with it.
Ultimately, this might be more me than the match, this felt every so slightly like they were trying to catch lightening in a bottle. The first match felt slightly more organic. This match was trying to capture all that and elevate it. More often than not, I don't find that as satisfying. That isn't really a knock, because I still think this is a really genuinely great match, but splitting hairs and making the obvious connection, that is a difference maker for me.

I'm also going to say both bossrock and my reviews constitute direct nominations.
