Probably the biggest compliment I can give this match is that it reminded me of Rage in a Cage. It's not on that level but the way it combined gruesome action with smart psychology and big bombs was quite impressive. Another 2004-2006 Joe special.

This is the cage match with the horrific Briscoe blade job?

Third
For a blowoff to a months-long feud this was pretty much an extended squash, and that's exactly what it should've been. Jay immediately going for the door early made total sense, then he gets cocky and tries to leave a few lumps of Joe rather than take his chance to escape. Joe makes him pay dearly for it and chaining the door shut was a great touch, not just in that it effectively eliminates that particular cage match trope and everything associated with it (spotty selling and/or a few inherently silly moments where someone could simply walk out the door but instead they try to climb the cage instead), but also foreshadows exactly what we're in for. Jay's gusher is wild and the close-ups of the blood clotting are gruesome. Some great build to a few key Jay comebacks and an emphatic finish to round it off, all in under 15 minutes. Maybe not top 100 *all time*, but would do well on an ROH 100.
