I'm gonna nominate this right away. A total masterpiece of a highflying cruiserweight match. They went all out since the very beginning (Rey hits a springboard rana to the outside at the first sixty seconds, literally), and while that could have been a problem, it isn't here because of two things. First, everything they did was so fluent and felt totally organic, and therefore, no moment took me out of the match at any time. Second, the selling was great, and they made sure to give importance to every big spot even if they were working at fast pace (take the wonderful counter-dropkick from Kidman for example, or Rey's desperation trying to stop Kidman before he does the SSP a couple of times). Nearfalls were very well done, with very dramatic kickouts, the fans lost their minds more than once, and the ending was amazing. This is how yo dou this kind of match. This is how you master a style. Clear contender for my list, and obvious 1999 MOTYC (maybe the USA MOTY).
