The Beauty Pair (Jackie Sato & Maki Ueda) vs Monster Ripper & Mami Kumano (AJW - Either Late 78 or 1/79) YOutube wasn't sure of the date so any help in that regard would be appreciated. Here's the match: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLQEPO2V2qE&t=270sAwesome tag match with great psychology, some amazing spots and a big atmosphere. The Beauty Pair look awesome. Monster Ripper is as good as you've ever seen her. Mami Kumano looks like another lost world class wrestler.

Seconding hard, excellent relatively short match and the atmosphere is fricking ELECTRIC. Those leapfrog splashes in the corner towards the end looked really cool.

This is January 1979 and I'm 99% sure this is actually Monster Ripper's first ever match.

Per Wikipedia: Sing's debut match in Japan was a tag team match with partner Mami Kumano, defeating the Beauty Pair (Jackie Sato and Maki Ueda) in January 1979.[3][2] In Japan, she began wrestling under the name Monster Ripper.[3]
She would have been a month away from turning 18 at the time of this match.
Edit 6/17/21:
The date for this is 1/4/1979. I found an interview with Rhonda shortly before her death and she noted the date and this was, in fact, her first match.

The atmosphere for this match is off the charts. The faces built sympathy and the heels kept finding ways to keep the heat on. If this is Ripper’s debut that makes what they achieved here so impressive.
I think I would have 2 or 3 Crush Gals Tag matches in my top 100, I don’t know that this will make my top 100 but When I think about it there is not that much difference between this and those matches. Nicely done.

This is the kind of match that I do this project for. I'd completely dismissed Beauty Pair assuming they were popular because of their music and nothing more. This match changed those perceptions. With the atmosphere, shennangians and face/heel presentation it came across as a proto Crush Gals vs Gokuaku Domei. They were both excellent as sympathetic faces selling like crazy. The hanging spot and Monster's splashes in the corner in particular looked great.
