Not sure what exactly to do with this one. Its obviously clipped, but I don't know how much. Nevertheless, I would strongly encourage checking this out for a few reasons: You can see that a lot of the things we associate with the Dump vs Chigusa era of AJW came before them. This match has crazy heat with the girls crying in the audience and going fucking bonkers when their hero does something Sato & Ripper both look fantastic here. Seriously. Its no surprise that Jackie Sato looks great, but Monster Ripper deserves a reevaluation. People looking for a great heel vs face divide that doesn't go totally overboard like Dump Matsumoto should check this out. I LOVE the old AJW ring cover with the rose. I always enjoy that in these old matches. They do like 3 or 4 things you've never seen in a match before. Ripper climbs up to the apron and Sato hits her with a cross body block over the ropes taking both to the floor. WHAT? Ripper doing a bodyslam and following it up by falling on Sato and just biting the shit out of her leg.
Great shit that I would highly encourage watching.

Cagematch lists this as 36:36 so we get about half of it. I'm not sure if it is eligible, but what is shown is very fun and I'd recommend it. Ripper is very green, but is a great progression in the Miyamoto > Ripper > Dump > Nakano > Kong line of monster heels. Sato really carries it here with selling the leg to the point the audience is crying for their hero.

3rd. Jackie tells a great story working around Ripper's limitations. Ripper for her part does her monsterisms very well, particularly given how green she was. The obvious comparison is Jag v Ripper from 82, which I think is a better match, but this is still great stuff
