I got my second dose of the Moderna vaccine two weeks ago, so I'm officially fully vaccinated as of today. After the first shot, I just had a sore arm for a day or two. The morning after the second one, I woke up groggy with a headache. I felt good as new after taking an ibuprofen, though.
How's the process going for everybody else? Are you able to access the vaccine where you live? If you've gotten it, did you experience any side effects?

I got my second dose (moderna) about two months ago now. The first dose my arm was pretty sore for a few days, but I attribute that to training more or less right after. I had almost no side effects from the second dose. Maybe a slightly sore arm til mid-day the following day. My wife's experience (phizer) was very similar.
I live in a pretty small little college town. We moved to "anyone who wants the shot can get it" about a month ago I think. Talking to some people who work in the medical field around here they have struggled to use the doses they got a lot of the time. We also have like 3-4 entities administrating shots and for a while it was like the wild west. There was lots of confusion about when someone qualified and so on, but I found my experience on the day of really pleasant. the hospital was doing shots in a massive community rec center and it was crazy organized. There were no lines and I was probably in there 20 minutes door-to-door and that was with a 15 minute waiting period after the shot.
All said, I am just pretty happy to have it. My wife and I took a trip to Ashville, NC recently and things felt kind of normal. In the wake of recent CDC recs,e have also more or less returned to our regular routines now that we are both vaxxed (that just happens to be our comfort level).

After my first dose my arm was sore, but otherwise I was fine. After my second shot, I was initially sore and tired, but then I had a pretty bad fever and was out of it for the next day.
It does feel like we have turned a corner against the virus and that feels great, though I am feeling some anxiety about what getting back to normal entails. I love close to the beach and it feels like traffic and crowds are going to exceed what they were.
Still, the past year has been brutal and I am especially excited for my kids to be able to socialize without fear and visit the places they loved to go.
Hope everyone is getting their shot and feeling good.

I totally agree with the anxiety part. I still feel tentative about going into a bar or restaurant, even though I have weighed the risks and info and made my choices. I think it is just going to be strange for a while.
