I often joke with my wife that every day I don't dive head first into collecting wrestling figures (or masks) is a victory for our bank account and our financial future.
HOWEVER, I'm at my parents place and they still have all my old stuff from childhood. Last night, I was feeling nostalgic and I was poking around. I found all my old WWE (hasbro) and WCW (galoob) wrestling figures! It is awful tempting to take them all back with me and decorate my office with them.
Anyone collect?
I used to have a lot of elites, but I sold them to pay the bills while I was in school. I kept a few. However, I have a personality where I like to collect things, but I'm quasi type-A about it, so I really know I shouldn't dabble too much more than I have already haha

Not really a collector anymore, but I still have a bunch of the old Jakks figures. Still have a ring in good shape, and their Titan Tron set that played snippets of music. It's too bad I just *had* to play with them, or the collection might be worth a decent amount now.

I have my Old LJN wwf figures In a box, but they are Beat Up to hell. When I was young I played with them for hours on end. I also was a big nwa/wcw fan so I would book matches and for example my Greg valentine figure would do triple duty as flair and Bobby Eaton.
I didn’t book long term storylines but I did have notebooks of cards that I would run.
I know people are biased in favor of whatever they were Into at ages 9-17, but those figures are the GOAT in my mind.

My first figure was NWO Wolfpac Savage (and this was before I started watching). I bought a couple more as I got older and in recent years have bought some for my son.

I actually used my GI Joe, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter figures for that more than my actual wrestling figures. Tony Khan ain't got nothing on the shit I was booking back in the day.

If I were to list the top reasons to have a child right now, "get to buy them wrestling figures" and "get to do wrestling moves on them into pools" would be AT LEAST int he top 5.
