One of the better Lucha Libre tag matches I've seen. You have a young Chris Jericho here, teaming with Ultimo Dragon and going against two of the best matworkers ever. As you would expect, this was a very technical match that played out like a chess game from both teams. It never really kicks into third gear as a result, but the quality of work from start to finish was excellent. This is a great example of the type of match you should expect when you have four ring generals involved in a tag match. Nothing dramatic or spectacular in terms of spots, but just a very intense level of work and focus. Everything was in the right place here, and I didn't feel any lack of urgency because the level of work was very consistent. At some points, the matwork looks more like shoot-style than anything else which I found to be quite interesting. The fans showered the ring with money after this match apparently, which is quite understandable given the effort put into this match. Not the greatest Lucha Libre tag match of all time, but a very good case study in how to build a high-level tag match from start to finish. ****3/4 Link - www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGJO3Ch1VBs

I tried this and given the length of the video (44min) and how bad Jericho looked in the opening moments...I can't do 44 minutes of this.
