Really interesting. This sort reinforces my general feeling that Joshi was the big riser this year and lucha was the big dropper.
I'm sad that the TXT tag dropped so far. I was the only vote on it this year. It is really a fantastic tag match. People should give it another shot before next year.
Is 3/18/89 not the Landover match? I'm confused.

I’m 99% sure that whoever votes for it assumes it’s the Landover match. The Philly match the same day is horrible quality, but I remember it being the best of the whole ‘89 Flair/Steamboat run. Although I haven’t watched it in about 15 years.

I've only seen one that I was always under the impression was Landover. I need to check out the Philly one or make sure I see both and know which is which for sure. haha.

I’ve definitely noticed a lot of movement this year. I’m so glad that the Kandori/Hokuto December match gained some steam down the stretch. I always appalled at the returns last year. Honestly I think I was too low on both of them. I had them both in the Top 10 before I decided to go all in on some personal favorites.

It's weird to me how joshi is rising while lucha is kinda falling. Usually, for what I've been seeing in most forums over the years, the same type of fans who love one of those styles love the other one as well.

Joshi made a bigger impact for me this year and I expect it to continue to rise. I prefer the Hokuto/Kandori 12/93 over the Dream Slam match and was delighted to see it make a jump. While I like some Lucha, stylistically, I've accepted at this point in my fandom it's something that just isn't going to make much of a dent in my top 100 going forward.
