I'm going to watch every Mens Teioh match ever because holy goddamn hell this is the best.

Huh? Mens Teioh is one of my favourite japanese workers ever. That said I didn't have high expectations for this. Winger is deathly dull and much of deathmatch wrestling I find boring. I expected some fun spots and blood, so I was taken aback when they succeeded in producing something that felt different. Instead of the usual standard brawling, we got Winger hitting a cool surprise dive and both guys chucking the barbed wire boards in each others face and acting unpredictable when they were brawling in the crowd. The board spots weren't overly elaborate and felt much less contrived than usual. Teioh was an absolute king in this integrating his Mid South/NWA Studio match technical style into a deathmatch environment. So you got a ton of fun unique technical deathmatch spots. Calf branding with the barbedwire board, bow and arrow with the board etc. Truely outstanding stuff. Winger didn't hold up much in the second half of the match but Teioh carried him no problem. I wouldn't say this completely blew me away but it was unique and different for sure. One of the better 2000s BJW singles.

I'm glad you liked it! Definitely caught me off guard because its Winger hahahah.
Teioh was a truly excellent wrestler who looks comfortably working the luchaersu M-Pro stuff most people know him from, but he's a great old school wrestler very capable on the mat and he's awesome in these death matches.
We're doing a Mens Teioh Watch Party this weekend for the Greatest Wrestler Ever Project. I would strongly recommend checking it out for folks that may not have seen much.
