Yuki Ishikawa vs Daisuke Ikeda (BattlArts - 8/29/1999)
Yet another classic in their series of matches. This was always the one I liked the most, but I can see an argument for any of them honestly. I want to find a spot for at least one of their matches so this is likely to make my list. Greatest death valley driver ever always sticks out in my mind.

2nd. Maybe the most grueling match in their series. And it's not even the only match both workers had that day. Also, claustrophobic studio TV ambience. Full review from WKO:
This is the followup to the Ikeda/Yone match and goes how you expect it too. Yet another chapter in their series of exercises in pain tolerance. This is probably a broken record for Ishikawa/Ikeda matches, but the punishment they dish out on eachother here has to be seen to be believed. Both guys are beaten up badly from previous matches, so this one is worked like a fight to the death, Ishikawa was more aggressive than in probably any other match I can remember, as he kicks and punches the dogshit out of Ikeda who returns the favor with barrages of brutal kicks. There are some nice submissions thrown in, but most of this is them fighting tooth and nail down to their knees and back up again, it really feels like the BattlARTS answer to Mantell/Lawler, to the point where it becomes all about who's hard enough to absorb the punishment and keep going, rather than passing out. Pretty epic spectacle, and also has one of my favourite albeit simplistic Ikeda moments when he feints a Lariat to Ishikawa and just obliterates him with the left.

I would also be very much interested in that. From what I can gather it's their most highly praised match, and yet the only one from the series not available online. If anyone can possibly upload the match it would be much appreciated.

Someone who can upload shit really needs to get the disc and put this match online. Its like if nobody had seen Flair vs Steamboat Clash 6 or you had all the Misawa/Kawada matches but not 6/3/94

I've messaged people on VK video uploading the 90s BattlArts stuff.

My only disc drive is the Xbox. Can that do it? Unfortunately I wouldn't have a clue about ripping discs via Xbox.. If you had access to a laptop with a drive or maybe someone you know could do it for you. All you would need is the MP4 file.
