This match is 12 minutes of pure excitement, and would be a good match to show someone how good pro-wrestling can be. The Allin ladder spot was so outrageously dangerous. The Jeff Hardy Senton onto the steel steps was a nice spot too.
These two are known for doing crazy spots and for taking crazy bumps, and they knew that, unless they delivered a match full of both of those things, people would be disappointed. And the result is a match comprised of nothing but bump.....after bump.....after bump.....after bump...after bump. So, this match is kind of like a John Wick movie: why waste time with silly things like story and character-development, when you can just get straight to the action.
When this match happened people weren't giving it 5 stars. They were giving it scores like '3.75 stars'. However, I really think that this match is one of the top 100 of all time.
