Well, I'm not saying this is top-100 material, but here's one of the most talked-about WWF/E matches of the late 90's, remembered mainly for Foley taking many chair-shots to the head.
Amazingly, Mick was not diagnosed with a concussion after this match. However, rumor has it that he experienced memory loss after this match, which, some say, was a factor in him retiring from full-time wrestling in early 2000.
The blown rock-bottom table spot marrs this match a tiny amount, but this is a ferociously intense match which some, over the years, have claimed is a 5-star match.
In 1999, 14 year old me found this match very disturbing.

There’s no reason to watch this. It’s gross.

Third. Infamous match for obvious reasons.

One thing I just now remembered about this match is that this match has the very best pre-match hype package (aka 'tale of the tape' video) of all time. Foley saying stuff like 'pain is my middle name, it's my calling in life', was a little traumatising for then non-wrestling fan me

It's a sick match but I'm a sick person. The Rock is low key the most brutal, stiff wrestler in wrestling sometimes. And Foley dies for my pleasure. The dumb ending might prevent me from rating this 5 stars.

I don’t know what is. If this match were written out as a script I’d absolutely love it but the execution and tone doesn’t land for me at all.
I personally enjoy all their matches together. Especially the survivor series final and the raw match. I think they’re all the best stuff of the era but nothing is GME material. I hate few years like I hate 1999
