This match does not have the jaw-dropping spots of their utterly phenomenal match from December 2000, but this match is still very good and has some nice spots of it's own - namely 3 sleeper suplexes from Kobashi and a total of 5 exploder suplexes from Akiyama - and a decent looking powerbomb onto the padding outside of the ring. I really like Kobashi's sleeper suplexes. 9 times out of 10 they look brilliant and it is probably my favourite wrestling move to see executed. The crowd in this match is very small compared to some crowds from their other matches. The strikes in this are very crisp. I dont think this match is as good as their December 2000 match but this match is still a real gem. An intense, no-nonsene battle with beautiful moves executed by pros . Kobashi and Akiyama just had really good chemistry. I dont know if this would make my top 100 list but this match is better than most main event matches I have seen from wwe.

Is this the only match in which Kobashi passes out?

Doesn't feel nearly as over the top & ridiculous as their usual match but still feels like a big match. Probably the best they ever had for my tastes. Great stuff.
