First Post Here. KY Kapeeka vs. Jordan Loverine "Royal rumble 2024 results WWE" (SGW Uganda - 26/1/2024) The title might be clickbait to get some views, but the wrestling in this match is unironically good. They wrestle in a style that is like part WWE Style match and Lucha Brawl. Some of these shots sound painful. They don't have any rings or mats, they just have solid dirt to fall on, which makes for some insane bumps. They sometimes act cartoony but sell realistically. They had a really solid structured match. The crowd are very loud as they chant the wrestlers names throughout the entire match. The spinebuster onto the solid dirt is painful. Some ingenuity by the promotion as they make some platforms for the wrestlers to do some top rope moves. the most insane move has the be the firemans carry lawn dart into the bamboo sides of the ring, which makes the thin ropes break. The post match is a crazy attitude era brawl, with many wrestlers doing finishers from the WWE like the cross rhodes, rko. The only problems of the match is the production of it, the audio is really out of sync and the video sometime cuts at a crucial point. Even though this doesn't stand to the puroresu classics, I think by sheer passion and creativity makes me love this match. Even though the promotion has little resources and fans, they still put out a good match. Wrestling is worldwide, and im glad there are some people to spread the word of pro wrestling to the world. m.youtube.com/watch?v=t7DzjwAiLOE

second. Thank you so much for that rec man, that shit was so good. You said it all it feels like a lucha brawl mixed with the WWE style but it works perfectly here. Those guys are so sick lmao, this rules.

Coming from Kenya (the neighbouring country), I've always preached about pro- wrestling as a sport that should make it's debut to East Africa and finally here it is... This was everything I was hoping it was gonna be, they wrestled. It's always been about simulating combat and having fun doing it. The crowd is lively excited throughout the match and the ring announcer does such a great job. Fantastic stuff...

If you thought Black Terry vs. Wotan is a dirty match, then watch this, they're literally fighting on dirt haha.

Hell yeah this rules. The frog splash and the throw into the corner were amazing spots. The crowd's energy is super cool.

It seems to me that Kapeeka (One of the wrestlers in the video) is a heckuva wrestler. I just saw him in a match where he took a styles clash and did a crazy dive over the rope on to the grass outside, it looks like a spear. It looks absolutely gnarly, how are you gonna do that and still continue the match, these guys are so passionate and insane. They're passion is so contagious it makes me want to wrestle lol.

These guys carry with them a level of earnestness in throwing the whole bodies into things that reminded me a lot of what I appreciate from the indy scene in early 2000s. Idk if their bodies will appreciate this stuff in a few years' time, but it's something I've missed seeing from wrestling for a good while now.
