Classic tag match in UWFi. Perhaps the best one they did in the promotion. Kakihara and Sakuraba make for great babyfaces for the crowd, while Steve Nelson and Gene Lydick gradually heel things up a bit and eventually utilize a rapid tag tactic to team up on Sakuraba, which eventually leads to a hot tag for Kakihara. Lots of other traditional pro-style elements are apparent in this match, which leads to an interesting dynamic and the crowd eats it up. The matwork was great as well, and Kakihara's strikes really present a credible element of danger throughout the match that had me biting in. The story eventually leads to the Americans and their suplexes being the deciding factor. One of the more underdiscussed tag matches of the 1990s I think. ****1/2

Super match. I've always thought 6/10/94 was one of the great shows no one really talks about & this is one of the reasons why.
