Peak wrestling melodrama. A well constructed plunder brawl with a logical structure and plenty of emotion (maybe too much at times from the commentators).
Say what you will about HBK's acting, but the crowd was eating out of his hand the entire match. The main criticism of this match is his post-comeback back selling (or lack thereof) and I partially agree with it, making this a borderline pick. Still, I generously theorize it was a deliberate choice on his part. For instance, he landed on his side during the superplex execution, meaning he was still aware of the plot point but chose not to engage when in control, perhaps as a macro-story commentary on how he refused to be hampered like he was in 1998? Triple H, meanwhile, somehow resurrected his 2000/01 form and turned in a diabolical heel performance with great selling. WWE had a sneakily great 2002.

2nd
I think it's the 7th best match on the show but I'll admit to always skipping Undertaker vs Test whenever I've rewatched it the whole thing.

To be fair, Summerslam 2002 is a really strong card so that's not as bad as it sounds.

True - one of the very best top to bottom big shows WWE ever did.
